One of the first items we need to discuss is your Alaska Fishing License. This must we secured prior to wetting a line in any of Alaska's fish rich waters. Thankfully, the Alaska Department of Fish and Game has made this allot easier by incorporating online fishing licenses so you can get this at your leisure. Alaska Fishing Lodges

Here is another point that need some clarification. The term fishing lodge is applied to any of the many guide services offering lodging on their facilities but many guided do not have this option available to offer you. Those guides are listed as Alaska fishing guide services but still have the ability to put you in a hotel or in one of the many cabins for rent in the Kenai/soldotna area.

We offer both options as we have three fully self contained cabins available and a number of others just moments from our facility. We are really lucky this way as it gives us the opportunity to offer so many different levels of accommodations in a very wide price ranges to fit the budgets and desires of all of our clients.

Although there are technically five species in the river it is four that provide the majority of the action. P.S. The goldfish above is not one of the five species of salmon.
