Joe Jessal

Catching his first big Kenai King as a kid left Joe with an interest in showing everyone exactly how exciting it can be to “land the big one!” He considers the Kenai Peninsula to harbor some of the best fishing opportunities in the world.

Joe participates in local community fishing events, such as acting as the Chairperson for “Take a Kid Fishing Day,” or pitching in for the “Return of the Salmon Celebration.”

Between feverish bouts of fishing, hunting and taking advantage of all the outdoor activities on the Peninsula, Joe resides in Sterling, Alaska, with his wife, Emily and their out-of-control black lab, Little bear.
